Job Description
- Develop and perform one-dimensional (1D) simulations for various HVAC products in the LENNOX product line. Validate simulations by comparing them with test data from global laboratories to ensure accuracy and reliability. Possess a solid understanding of HVAC product performance testing and the AHRI (Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) rating process. Utilize numerical methods to solve thermal engineering problems, applying advanced knowledge of system modeling. Leverage advanced knowledge in system modeling tools and programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C++, and C#. Continuously validate and refine system modeling tools using lab test results, ensuring models remain accurate. Handle ad hoc modeling change requests independently with minimal supervision. Have a good understanding of the software release IT process, likely to manage or oversee software deployment for simulations. This role requires a blend of HVAC engineering knowledge, strong simulation and programming skills, and the ability to work independently on complex engineering problems. Qualification : Masters Degree (M.E) in Thermal Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or Refrigeration Engineering: Candidates should have 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. Candidates with a PhD should have 1 to 2 years of experience. Heat Transfer & Fluid Dynamics - Strong foundational knowledge in heat transfer and fluid dynamics, with the ability to apply these principles in the design of thermal systems components. HVAC & Refrigeration Systems Expertise - In-depth understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including detailed knowledge of components such as: Heat Exchangers ,Compressors, Fans & Blowers Programming Skills- Experience in programming using any language, with specific mentions of Python, Matlab, C++, and C#. Summary: The ideal candidate would be someone with a strong educational background in thermal, HVAC, or refrigeration engineering, coupled with practical experience in designing and modeling thermal systems. A solid understanding of core engineering principles like heat transfer and fluid dynamics, along with proficiency in relevant programming languages, is essential for this role.,
