- Position-LINUX Administrator Location- Bhubaneswar Experience- 4 to 6 Years Type- Full Time Company Description:- Company Website: [https://iserveu.in/](https://iserveu.in/) As an Infrastructure and System Administrator (Linux), you will help design, configure, implementing and maintaining the iServeU network & physical servers. This position interfaces directly with our data centre staff and development teams to ensure our platform and features have scalable architectures and that will provide a stable infrastructure to our customers. What We Expect From You Troubleshooting Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Apache, Nginx, MySQL, etc. Communicate on current document processes and assist in improvement suggestions. Learn and adapt to the iServeU platform, and adapt to rapid changes. Troubleshoot issues escalated by the L6/L5 teams for L4 Resolution Collaborate with management and team to improve the infrastructure. Create automated and scaling architecture for our cloud physical servers. Requirements Key Responsibilities: System Administration Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations. Manage user accounts and permissions. Patch and update systems to address security vulnerabilities. Network Administration Configure and manage network interfaces and routing. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Implement network security measures. Server Management: Monitor server performance and resource utilization. Optimize system performance through tuning and configuration. Manage storage and backup solutions. Security Implement security best practices for Linux systems. Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities. Respond to security incidents. Scripting Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Develop scripts for system administration and automation. Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve Linux-related issues. Analyze logs and metrics to identify problems. Provide technical support to users. Collaboration Work closely with development, operations, and security teams. Communicate effectively and collaborate on projects. Required Skills And Qualifications Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian). Experience with system administration tasks (e.g., user management, permissions, networking). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Knowledge of network administration concepts. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Certifications in Linux (e.g., LPIC, RHCSA, RHCE). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, and Azure).
