Job Description
- TripXL is looking for a Destination Product Manager to lead the development and expansion of our pilgrimage travel product, covering key spiritual destinations across India and internationally. This role requires an expert in pilgrimage tourism, responsible for designing comprehensive travel packages, negotiating contracts, onboarding the right travel partners, and ensuring seamless sales and operations automation for scalability. As the P&L owner for the pilgrimage product, you will strategize, optimize, and drive revenue growth while ensuring top-notch customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Development & Expansion Design and develop comprehensive pilgrimage travel products catering to Indian travelers. Cover key domestic and international pilgrimage destinations, ensuring a diverse portfolio. Continuously enhance and refine packages based on market trends and customer feedback. 2. Partner Onboarding & Contracting Identify and onboard the right travel partners, hotels, and DMCs specializing in pilgrimage travel. Negotiate competitive contracts with suppliers, ensuring high-quality services at the best rates. Build strong relationships with religious institutions, local tour operators, and transport providers. 3. Sales & Business Growth Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while ensuring competitive market rates. Work closely with the sales team to create attractive pilgrimage packages and promotional offers. Collaborate with marketing teams to position TripXL as the go-to brand for pilgrimage travel. 4. Operations & Process Automation Streamline booking, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth pilgrim experiences. Implement automation tools to simplify and scale operations for better efficiency. Ensure robust customer support to handle pilgrimage-specific requirements and queries. 5. P&L Management & Business Scaling Own and manage the P&L for the pilgrimage product, ensuring profitability and revenue growth. Analyze market demand, competitor offerings, and financial performance to make data-driven decisions. Drive cost optimization while maintaining high service standards. Key Skills & Requirements: Proven experience in pilgrimage travel product development & management. Strong industry connections with pilgrimage travel suppliers, hotels, and tour operators. Expertise in contracting, negotiations, and supplier management. Knowledge of automation tools & digital transformation for travel operations. P&L management experience, with a strong focus on revenue growth and business scaling. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.
