Job Description
Position Name: Manager - MechanicalLocation: Visakhapatnam Company: Animal health company specializing in manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Finished Dosage Formulations (FDF)
Qualification: B. Tech - Mechanical
Experience: Minimum 8 - 15 years in API.
- Hands of experience on Processing Equipment s like Reactors (SS & MSGL), ANFD, Centrifuges, VTD s, ATFE, FBD s, Tray Dryers, HVD,s, Compactors, Vacuum Pumps(water ring , oil ring , dry type) , Centrifugal pumps, Multimills, Sifters etc).
- Effluents Treatment Plant Equipments like Multi Effect Evaporators, Propeller type pumps, ATFD s, Blowers (Centrifugal & Twin lobe), Vacuum pumps, PPPU pumps, Rotary Kiln, Incinerators, Strippers, Sequential Batch Reactors (SBR), Clarifiers etc.
- Knowledge on Utility Equipments like Air Compressor, Nitrogen Plant, RO Plant, DM Plant, chilling plant, boilers etc.
- Preparing Equipment Qualification (URS, Data sheet, DQ,IQ,OQ,PQ) of new as well as old equipments
- Preparing and Updating the SOP s of Equipments and systems.
- Maintain all record according to cGMP Standards.
- Preparing the Preventive Maintenance schedules for critical equipments.
- Preparing the yearly budgets and try to achieve the target.
- Accurate estimation of budgets for Capex and managing the same within the approved budget.
- Fulfil the quality and safety audits requirements.
- Allocation of work to team members on day to day basis.
- Testing the performance of machine as for manufacturer s guidelines.
- Servicing, repairing, and lubricant the machines
- Execute the Daily, weekly and periodically maintenance of equipments.
- Attending the breakdowns.
- Work instructions carried out while attending the breakdowns and finding of root cause analysis.
- Based on feedback from production or quality department analysis the cause and take the necessary steps.
- Work allotted to workers on priority basis.
- Follow the time bound system for lubrication of the machines.
- Planning and Maintain the Equipment spares.
- Cost reduction, improvement projects, energy conservation projects.
- Planning the projects and modifications as per urgency.
- Preparation of revenue budget and capex budget for the respective area and same need to submit to HOD.
- Ensure maximum availability of equipment s at optimum performance level.
