- -Regulatory Licenses and Authorizations in 40+ Countries, enabling seamless onboarding, rapid integration, and compliance -30+ Card Issuance Markets -100+ Supported Currencies Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Node.js and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of AWS services and experience in queue-based communication systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka. You will be responsible for developing secure, reliable, and scalable RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. Key Responsibilities: API Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure and high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. Queue-Based Communication: Implement and manage queue-based communication systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka to ensure efficient message processing and system integration. AWS Services: Utilize basic AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) to support backend infrastructure needs. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development. Security: Implement security best practices to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Debugging & Optimization:Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Documentation: Document code, APIs, and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing across the team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience: For 1-2 years of experience in backend development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript. Basic understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda). Experience with queue-based communication systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka. Strong understanding of RESTful API development. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills. * Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing microservices. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
