Job Description
Chip Technician
JOB Responsibilities:
- Examine the unit and observe operation until an initial suspicion is developed to open up the unit and perform further checks using electronic hand tools and prescribed testers.
- Ensure that all pertinent repair and testing tools and appliances are in proper working condition.
- Determine parts to be replaced and provide cost estimates to the client prior to starting any work.
- Update client on the progress of troubleshooting and append initial cost estimates when necessary.
- Observe regular work schedules to achieve optimum work productivity
- Attend training courses on new developments in technical knowledge of chips and technologies.
- Perform all testing activities services and repairing hearing aid accordingly.
- Perform of manufacturing of custom hearing aid and ear moulds a verity of soft and hard materials.
- Troubleshoot to determine problems.
Technical Skills:
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Willingness to learn and use new computer programs/applications.
- Ability to pay close attention in detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop and submit the gadgets to both large and small groups on TAT basis.
- Should have adequate knowledge in RF and gadgets internal repair operating technologies.
- Should have above average comprehension skills to follow medium complexity instructions in internal parts of gadget repair.
- Should have strong computer proficiency, both hardware and software, and peripheral devices used in the repair of gadgets.
- Circuits & Chips repair knowledge.
- Diploma from ECE /Graduates.
- Preferably male candidates.
