Job Description

Job Position: Network Engineer - L1 Location: Trivandrum Shift Timing: Rotational shift Experience: 2 - 3 years Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Implement network security measures to protect organizational data and systems. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues such as network connectivity and latency. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth and reliable operation of networks. Provide technical support and guidance to users on network-related issues. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures. Skills Required: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP, OSPF, and other networking protocols and technologies. Hands-on experience with basic switching configuration commands (Cisco IOS, Juniper, etc.). Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Qualifications: B.E, Diploma, B.Tech, or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
