- Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Animation Expert with a strong background in game development using Unity 3D. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of 3D animation principles, character rigging, and environmental animations, along with extensive experience in creating immersive game experiences. You will work collaboratively with game designers, developers, and artists to bring interactive content to life. Key Responsibilities: 3D Animation & Rigging: Design and create high-quality 3D animations for characters, environments, and objects. Rig and skin characters for realistic and seamless motion in Unity 3D. Develop facial animations and lip-syncing using advanced techniques. Game Integration: Implement animations in Unity 3D using the Animator Controller and state machines. Collaborate with developers to ensure animations function seamlessly in gameplay. Optimize animations for performance on different platforms (PC, console, mobile). Collaboration & Creativity: Work closely with game designers and artists to conceptualize and execute animation styles that match the games vision and mechanics. Provide input on animation timing, dynamics, and overall gameplay experience. Create prototypes to iterate and refine animation ideas. Technical Expertise: Use Unity's tools (e.g., Timeline, Cinemachine) for creating cinematic sequences. Troubleshoot animation issues and implement solutions. Stay updated on the latest animation technologies and tools. Asset Management: Organize and manage animation assets efficiently for easy team collaboration. Maintain documentation and best practices for animation workflows. Qualifications & Skills: Experience & Education: Bachelors degree in Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). 1+ years of experience as a 3D Animator in game development, with a strong portfolio of shipped titles or completed projects. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Unity 3D, including animation workflows and tools. Expertise in 3D modeling and animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max). Familiarity with motion capture data processing and integration. Skills in Animation: Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, anticipation, follow-through). Experience with character animation, including bipedal and quadrupedal motion. Ability to create environmental and object animations (e.g., foliage, props). Game Development Knowledge: Understanding of game design principles and how animations impact gameplay. Familiarity with scripting languages like C# for animation triggers is a plus. Knowledge of asset optimization for real-time engines. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Adaptability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced development cycle. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with VR/AR game animation. Knowledge of physics-based animations and procedural animation techniques. Understanding of shaders and visual effects related to animation.,
