Job Description

Electrical and Instrumentation designer Experience : 1+years Location : Mangalore / Hyderabad Degree : Diploma/B.E. /B.Tech Mechanical Job description Instrumentation Design: Develop instrumentation designs for oil & gas and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Prepare and review P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and junction box layouts. Design and verify hook-up diagrams, instrument index, I/O lists, and instrument data sheets. Coordinate with DCS, FGS, and ESD system requirements and ensure integration into project designs. Utilize S3D, E3D, and AutoCAD for instrumentation design and drafting. Perform QA/QC checks on instrumentation drawings and ensure compliance with specifications. Electrical Design: Develop electrical layouts, cable routing, and schematics for power and control systems. Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring reports, and interconnection diagrams. Verify and check electrical equipment drawings, panel layouts, and grounding systems. Review and coordinate electrical and instrumentation drawings with multidisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and safety regulations. Support load calculations, power distribution, and circuit design for electrical systems. Project Coordination & QA/QC: Review and update as-built drawings based on site surveys. Ensure design alignment with company procedures, industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC), and client specifications. Collaborate with engineers, site teams, and project managers to resolve technical issues. Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during project execution. Assist in quality inspections, audits, and documentation reviews for E&I systems. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field. Proven experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Designer in Oil & Gas, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects. Proficiency in S3D, E3D, AutoCAD, INTOOLS, and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of P&IDs, loop diagrams, electrical schematics, and instrument specifications. Knowledge of international standards and codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, ISA, API, etc.).
