Job Description
- Job Specification / Skills: Candidates should have 3-6 years of Experience in the web (PHP) development with core PHP, Cake PHP, MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, Linux, JSON, and XML. Back-end: MVC/Object-Oriented PHP (v.5+) Web scraping using Regular Expressions and XPATH Capable of developing complex data driven systems (without the aid of a framework!) Capable of developing secure e-commerce crawler. Adaptive thinker/problem solver. Should be well versed with performance optimization techniques and debugging to find the root cause of database or other issue types. Unit-Test your code (putting assertions) Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX at the command-line Working knowledge of RESTful paradigms Comfortable working with Apache and debugging PHP through log files Experience in working with MySQL database and analyzing the efficiency of queries Front-end: Front-end development including jQuery/JavaScript Any scripting language knowledge is essential. e.g. java script, Ajax, DOM manipulation, cross browser implementations etc. (ideally without a framework!) Solid understanding of Front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3 Database: MySQL (v.5+) supported by php My Admin Following technical skills would be to the successful candidate's advantage: Knowledge of Design Patterns and when best to use them. Make use of accepted PHP best practices for writing code for primary application. Understanding of (or better yet direct experience) how to architect a system to be scalable for high load usage. Server performance considerations (e.g., in case we need you to investigate performance issues potentially related to your code) Understanding of (or skills to implement existing/develop own) push notification system. Required Candidate profile: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering. Development with PHP, MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, Linux, JSON, and XML. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services. Experience in developing APIs using php. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas. Excellent Verbal & written communication. Take ownership & Problem solving Attitude. Must have Skills: PHP, Core PHP, Mysql, Curl Linux commands API development using php. write scripts to make daily processes smooth. Web Crawling. Consistent & Dependable.
