Job Description

Environment Management:
Implement and review site specific environmental objective & targets.
Preparation and implementation of pollution prevention activities
Identify waste minimization & pollution prevention opportunities and assist management in
implementation of measures for resources conservation.
Maintain stock of analytical chemicals, treatment chemicals & plant raw materials.
Statutory and Non Statutory Compliance:
Update records as per ISO compliance and arrange auditing.
Ensure compliance in hazardous waste packing, transportation & dispatch to Toxic Solid Disposal
Facility (TSDF) site with proper segregation, identification, documentation and communication to
the site.
Monitor liquid effluent and hazardous waste received from various plants, its treatment and
disposal as per GPCB norms.
Prepare and submit documents as per MOEF requirement.
Monitor the Calibration of pollution & safety equipments.
Conduct third party/ internal and external audit at site.
Conduct treatability study for process change effluents.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies to maintain all necessary environmental regulatory licenses
and permits.
Maintenance of Hazardous waste site as per guideline.
People management:
Implementation of safety and ISO standards training to various target groups at the site.
Interact with seniors to provide technical information.
Deliver specific Environment awareness Training to various target groups at the site.
