About the role Name of the position: Design & Development Engineer Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile Position Description: Test engineer - Motorcycle engine peformance, durability testing and development meeting targets & emission norms Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct part level / sub-system level validation on engine test bed as per test standards Conversion of customer on road usage condition to test rig level simulations Conduct vehicle level testing on-road and at chassis dynamometer as per test standards Develop new technology or features for the engine Conduct engine benchmark studies Responsible for conducting engine DVP tests as per project time plan Support in preparation of test standards & reports Interact with Engine testing labs, Other R&D support teams, Other counter part departments & suppliers Functional Competencies: Experience in engine / vehicle testing Automotive Fundamentals Knowledge on instrumentation & electronics Basics knowledge of engineering drawing Basics knowledge of statistics / Data analysis Basics of knowledge of planning & execution Behavioural Competencies: Basic Communication Skills Working with Team collaboratively Interpersonal Effectiveness & Personal Leadership Rigor in job / work completion Customer centricity / focus Time Management Leadership Competencies Leading Innovation & Diverse Teams Adaptability Strategic Thinking Why TVSM ,
