About the role Name of the position: Model Based Development Engineer Educational Qualification: B.E Mech/ B.E Auto Position Description: Design, develop, simulate, validate & verify models using advanced simulation tools and model based methodologies for advanced powertrain control systems Roles & Responsibilities: Understand powertrain system requirements using solid first principles, translate same to detailed plant models. Perform detailed simulations to evaluate and analyze plant models for Fuel efficiency & emission compliance Design and develop control algorithms for implementing advanced powertrain control objectives & concepts. Integrate plant & control models and establish control flow throughtout the chain Verify and validate control system models across V-cycle through Model-In-loop(MIL), Software-In-Loop(SIL) & Processor-In-Loop(PIL) simulations Perform system level testing of Powertrain embedded ECUs in a Hardware-In-Loop(HIL) Testing environment Experience with auto-code generation and integration of code with underlying platforms Analyze test rider feedback & convert into engineering solution/improvements Functional Competencies: Product knowledge Product engineering & development Automotive Fundamentals Behavioural Competencies: Basic Communication Skills Working with Team collaboratively Interpersonal Effectiveness & Personal Leadership Rigor in job / work completion Customer centricity / focus Time Management Leadership Competencies Leading Innovation & Diverse Teams Adaptability Strategic Thinking Why TVSM one of the most emotive motorcycle brands in the world.
