Participate in initiatives to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the organization's assets, systems, and data. Develop and maintain risk registers, heat maps, threat and vulnerability reports, and other risk management documentation. Provide regular security risk, vulnerability, and threat reports and security KRI metrics. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure risks and issues remediation plans are effective. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and plans. Identifying internal process gaps, creating risk management guidance, creating/implementing solutions, research new technologies, methodologies, and processes in risk management and cyber security threat and vulnerability management. Assist in tracking vulnerability remediation efforts with IT and security organizations. Identify and track fundamental security and IT risks within organization and communicate the findings to senior leadership. Assist with monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents and provide timely response and resolution to mitigate security breaches or incidents. Participate in third-party and partner security risks assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and management. Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to ensure the organization is prepared to respond to new risks.
