Inviting applications for the role of Consultant-Manual Tester In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by leveraging strong technical expertise and a meticulous approach to quality assurance. Responsibilities Design and implement test cases for web, mobile, and service API testing. Manage test efforts using Jira for test case management and defect tracking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify testing needs Conduct thorough testing of applications, ensuring alignment with user requirements and business goals Conducting UAT as per the strict guidelines Provide detailed documentation and reports on test coverage, execution, and results. Identify, isolate, and document defects during the software development lifecycle. Suggest improvements to processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Strong experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, as well as web applications Hands-on experience using Jira for test management. Relevant QA testing experience in agile environments. Proficiency in using tools like Postman or something similar. Handson experience in functional, regression and compatibility testing for web and mobile applications Solid understanding of the STLC & SDLC process Experience in conducting UAT Basic SQL knowledge for data retrieval Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Knowledge of performance testing Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks along with basic coding skills Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
