Job Description
-Work with development teams to build and maintain cloud environments to specifications developed closely with multiple teams.-Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
-Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
-Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products.
-System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
-Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
-Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
-Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
-Automate everything. Build proactive monitoring and alerting tools.
-Provide standards, documentation, and coaching to developers.
Required Candidate profile
Skills Required:-Advanced Linux Administration
-Python or Ruby or equivalent ( other than bash ) coding experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-a-code or infrastructure and/or release automation work
-Languages Proficiency in one or multiple: Java, Golang, Python, Perl
-AWS or other public cloud experience
-Solid hands on skills with a majority of the following technologies:
Apache, Hadoop, Docker, EC2/ECS, S3, CloudFront, ECS, NFS, AWS SDKs & CLI Tools, Ruby, Python, Bash, Git, DNS, SSL, MySQL, Nagios, InfluxDB/Grafana, Puppet, Ansible, Kafka, Spark, Chef, ELK.
-Big Data, Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra tools and deployment
-Experience automating the testing and troubleshooting of distributed systems
-Experience managing container based services in production using tools such as Docker
-Working experience of using Jenkins or other CI/ CD Tools, Git/ SVN etc.
-Working experience of Automation of AWS Infra
-Past experience as Developer. Strong OO Programming skills
-Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
-Experience with large volumes of data.
-Experience with Agile project development cycle.
-Basic experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
