Job Description
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in designing and integration of internal and third party applications. 8 years of experience with programming in Java/Python/Go, Web Services (e.g., RESTful, SOAP), and CI/CD build tools. 8 years of experience managing engineers. Experience in designing distributed systems with scalable and microservice-based architecture. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Experience working with web-scale databases and building scalable data pipelines capable of aggregating and processing millions of events per day. Experience integrating custom built solutions with vendor product offerings and integration experience with finance business processes. Experience with financial planning and analysis or equivalent areas in finance engineering. Experience with Anaplan, SAP SAC, and SAP BPC. About the job As an Application Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and business analysts in meeting the application needs of Googles internal customers. You will lead projects that involve new technologies or that integrate/implement multiple homegrown and 3rd party applications supporting financial planning and analysis business processes. Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within senior-level audiences. Partner with internal business teams in developing the systems vision and delivery roadmaps. ,
