Job Overview: We seek a highly experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in managing e-commerce professional services projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder management and team leadership skills, ensuring seamless project execution, customer satisfaction, and high-quality deliverables. This role requires deep technical expertise, the ability to drive strategic initiatives, and a strong focus on collaboration between cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Project & Stakeholder Management Led and manage multiple e-commerce professional services projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery. Collaborate closely with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and technical requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for technical discussions. Proactively manage risks, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded by delivering solutions that align with their business objectives. Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery Oversee the development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions. Ensure best practices in development, testing, and deployment are followed. Work closely with engineering, and QA teams to ensure the smooth release of features and updates. Team Leadership & People Management Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring professional growth, skill development, and high performance. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and career development sessions for team members. Ensure team alignment with organizational goals and project objectives. Promote best practices in agile methodologies, sprint planning, and resource allocation. Process & Operational Excellence Optimize project execution processes to improve efficiency and reduce technical debt. Work closely with QA to improve release cycles, and overall system stability. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong experience in any e-commerce platforms Hands-on experience with backend and frontend technologies (JavaScript, Python, React) Experience in performance optimization, caching strategies, and database management. Management & Soft Skills 5+ years of experience in engineering management within e-commerce or professional services. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs. Experience in forecasting, and resource planning for large-scale e-commerce projects. Ability to handle escalations, risk management, and conflict resolution effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with global clients in the e-commerce domain.
