Job Description
- Able to analyse the requirements .
- Generate test cases from the requirements
- Analyse the various scenarios and implement test cases
- Verify and validate the software based on requirements
- Design and develop test framework to run in embedded environment
- Analyse and debug the issues in software and test .
- Document the design , usage and process.
- Automate the test case execution
- Actively acquire complex skills ,procedures inorder to specialize in the functional area
- Identify problems and significantly solve the problems independently.
- Foresee and predict the issues in the software
- Should have 12-15 years of experience in testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent collaboration and teaming skills.
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to guide team members through their challenges
- Flexibility to travel to the United States as needed.
- BS /MS / Equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering
- Experience in wireless technologies.
- Hands on experience in wifi, bluetooth, zigbee testing.
- Experience in test automation tools should have done test automation using labview.
- Proficiency in C, C++ is an added advantage
- Experienced in design and development of embedded controls software.
- Excellent working knowledge in developing microcontroller-based system and debugging techniques.
- Good knowledge on testing, test design, test development processes and related tools.
- Ability to develop black box tests. Working knowledge with test tools is a big advantage.
- Working knowledge of SDLC.
- Should have worked at least in parts of SDLC.
- Having worked in projects through a full SDLC and knowledge of the various development and test phases of the SDLC and is a big advantage.
- Experience with embedded and serial communication protocols (I2C, RS-485, RS-232, CAN) and networking protocols (TCP, UDP) & Wifi .
- Experience with LabView, Test Stand, and LabView Real-time .
- Experience with scripting languages like perl, python.
- Familiar with Requirements Management, Configuration Management concepts source code version control, bug tracking and traceability.
- Having worked with tools for these activities is an advantage.
- Familiar with basic concepts of Software Quality and Process.
- Familiarity with the HVAC industry is a plus.
