Job Description

Project description We are looking for an experienced software engineer to strengthen the API Management team. The team develops and maintains a distributed platform of micro-services exposing a large number of APIs to both internal and external consumers. As a Software Engineer, your role is to help our team produce software of high quality which adds value to the business.Candidates are expected to provide technical skills in software engineering, testing, and deployment. Candidates require work experience with Java and API development. Experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite is a plus. The main focus will be on supporting our Change Portfolio with the design and development of backend services. Responsibilities Implementation of micro-services using Java and Spring technologies End-to-end responsibility for the delivery of services and features with high quality and on time DevOps activities using Kubernetes Run-the-Bank activities (software maintenance and improvement) Skills Must have Degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent) Proven knowledge of Java, Spring and web technologies (e.g. Java 11/17/21, REST, Hibernate, TDD, Swagger/OpenAPI), web security (e.g. OAuth 2.0) Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Active MQ or similar) Good understanding of API design tooling (e.g. Swagger tools) and API Management platforms Team player Track record in developing backend services/web services DevOps knowledge including Docker, GitLab, Jenkins Nice to have Avaloq Core and Front Platform customization experience is an asset Experience with working in Scrum teams is an asset English written and spoken on business level, German is an asset Other Languages English: C1 Advanced Seniority Senior Gurugram, India Req.
