Job Description
-
- Good understanding in "IT infrastructure and service operation" transformation solutions using emerging technologies like virtualization, service automation, RPA and ITPA
- Understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate team goals, deliverables, and keep the team updated on change
- Interact with clients, stakeholders, and other executive developers in order to envision, model and provide initial designs.
- Collaborate with various SME s, technical & functional teams to provide solution in automation use-cases
- Manage group of Automation SMEs and ensure team KPIs and self KPIs are driven.
- Must have team level technical leadership skills
- Would maintain multiple automation projects
- Perform Proof of Concepts to help the business & recognize the feasibility of an automated solution
- Enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures.
- Ensures documentation is well maintained.
- Maintain Reports status, issues and risks on a regular basis
- Improves skills in automation products by completing automation certification.
Required Skills:
-
- Bachelor s Degree in engineering / Computer Science or related technical field.
- Must have performed Solutioning of end-to-end ITPA solution using Orchestrator tools like ServiceNow, BMC Atrium, HPOO, vRO in a Standalone/Multi Data Center environment.
- Must be able to drive team of Automation Developers, SMEs to meet project KPI.
- In-depth knowledge of Automation Framework and exposure to multiple Infrastructure(Windows, Unix, Database, Network, Storage).
- Able to provide end to end automation solution by integrating different tools by using web services or API
- Evaluate alternative approaches and ensure quality in solution
- Strong knowledge in scripting language like PowerShell, Perl etc
- Strong understanding of programming concepts and a programming background in any coding language, preferably .Net or Python.
- Strong knowledge on Database concepts such Write/modify SQL Queries & Database connection.
- Strong experience in developing End to end scenarios for Complex processes and Integrating Orchestrator workflows with ITSM Tools: BMC Remedy/HP Service Desk/Service Now/CMDB
Must have hands-on experience on versioning control tools like Git, SVN etc
Must have strong understanding of Agile methodology.

- Experience in ITOPS Automation and Knowledge in Automation tools and trends
- Should possess strong communication skills
