Job Description
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Two years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in mechanical engineering and fabrication, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, construction, or industrial engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications related to project management or fabrication processes are advantageous.
- knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including design, analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as welding, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for technical drawings and 3D modeling.
- Project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, allocate resources, track progress, and manage budgets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and address project-related challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
