Job Description

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the charge in managing massive data volumes, elevating the user experience for over 5 million active monthly users. You'll design scalable, cutting-edge solutions and tackle complex challenges, driving the next wave of innovation in API management. Join us to shape the future of APIs and deliver seamless, intuitive experiences that redefine user interaction. What You'll Do Develop and test product modules for the collection system. Actively participate in and, at times, lead design reviews with your peers and cross-functional teams. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., styling, exception handling, performance, testing). Monitor and prioritize product issues, troubleshoot across various layers, and resolve them by identifying root causes. Lead technical initiatives to address ambiguous challenges while maintaining a focus on the end-user experience. Spearhead large-scale re-architecture and refactoring efforts across the product stack. Design scalable and efficient solutions while balancing system constraints. Contribute significantly to roadmap planning, collaborating with stakeholders to align product development with strategic objectives. Mentor junior engineers, helping them grow and succeed within the team. About You Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in software development across one or more programming languages. At least 2 years of experience in building and maintaining products, including development, testing, and ongoing maintenance. Minimum of 1 year of experience in software design. Strong interest and ability to work across the full technology stack. Hands-on experience with JavaScript for 1+ years in production environments. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across engineering teams. Nice to Have Experience with large-scale or high-throughput systems. Familiarity with MySQL or AWS RDS is a plus. Strong understanding of DevOps and deployment practices (e.g., CI/CD, Kubernetes).
