9 - 12 Years 1 Opening Ahmedabad Role description Job Title: Technical Project Manager Product Development/Engineering Hiring Location: Pune, India Mandatory Skills: Technical Project Manager: Proven experience in leading and managing technical projects, ensuring successful project delivery within constraints (time, cost, and quality). Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Java and React development. Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and architectures. Agile & Scrum: Expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with the ability to manage and deliver projects using these frameworks. Fixed Bid Projects: Experience in managing Fixed Bid projects, with an ability to balance scope, resources, and deadlines. Team Management & Leadership: Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines. Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and requirement management. Client Interaction: Experience in direct communication with clients, handling project requirements, expectations, and feedback. Good to Have Skills: SAFe Framework: Familiarity with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and applying it in enterprise settings. DevOps & CI/CD: Understanding of DevOps principles, particularly Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment. Technical Debt Management: Ability to address and resolve technical debt effectively while keeping the project on track. Release Planning: Skilled in release planning, ensuring the balance of scope, resources, and timelines. Mentorship & Coaching: Ability to mentor and coach teams, improving their technical and process adherence in consultation with architects. Experience Range: Years of Experience: 9-12 years of experience in the software development and project management domain. Career Progression: Ideal candidate will have started their career as a developer, progressed to Technical Lead, and evolved into a Technical Project Manager. Relevant Experience: Experience in managing and delivering Java and React-based projects, along with exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience managing Fixed Bid projects is highly preferred. Roles & Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring successful delivery with respect to scope, timeline, and quality. Technical Decision Making: Make technical decisions for projects, including architecture, tool selection, and resource allocation, with a focus on Java, React, and Cloud technologies. Stakeholder & Client Management: Serve as the primary interface with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with project goals. Scrum & Agile Ceremonies: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, ensuring the team adheres to Agile practices. Team & Resource Management: Manage and guide cross-functional teams of developers, ensuring they follow the established best practices and deliverables are met on time. Fixed Bid Project Management: Handle the intricacies of Fixed Bid projects, ensuring scope and deliverables are agreed upon and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely delivery. Technical Coaching & Mentoring: Coach and mentor team members, especially those on technical standards, best practices, and Agile methodologies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report project performance using key metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, and other engineering metrics. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and implement improvements as needed. Personal Attributes: Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with clients and senior stakeholders. Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and provide solutions to complex technical and project management challenges. Self-Starter: Proactive and driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
