  • ROLE TITLE:Technical Project ManagerDEPARTMENT:OperationsREPORTS TO:Lead-Technical Project ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY:The Technical Project Manager owns the technical and operational relationship with Digital Wallets, Banking Schemes, Mobile Carriers and leads the technical scoping and integration of their payment solutions into Boku Payments platformYou will work with these external partners to assess their technical capabilities for a host of Boku products and manage the technical integration projects with limited resources and tight timelinesYou will collaborate closely with Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and SupportOperations in the process.
  • This is not only a highly externally focused role, but also one that is pivotal to internal teams serving as the payment solution expert for the markets coveredIf you thrive in a fast-paced, constantly challenging environment, wed love to talk with you.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct comprehensive gap analysis with Digital Wallets, Bank Schemes, Mobile Carrier to ensure their billing solution meets the required technical and operational specifications.
  • Create Solution Designs to ensure the solution meets Merchant, Boku and Payment Issuer (Wallets, Bank Schemes, Carrier) specifications.
  • Lead project planning effort and plan for creation of project plans, task lists, and schedules.
  • Manage integration projects from initiation to launch, focusing on time and quality.
  • Maintain effective communication of project status with regular updates.
  • Manage change requests for any planned updates existing integrations on the payment platform.
  • Organize and facilitate regular project scrum to track project tasks and dependencies.
  • Drive technical issues to resolution with urgency and focus and serve as an escalation point for stakeholders.
  • Analyze and interpret multiple data sources to understands trends and underlying issues.
  • Support business development in the pre-sales phase with technical inputs during discussions with Wallets, Banks, Carriers and Merchants.
  • MEASURES OF SUCCESS:Timely Delivery of projects:The project is expected to be delivered as per time committed to Merchants.
  • Project Milestones:Achievement of key project milestones as outlined in the project plan, with minimal disruptions.
  • Identification of Closure of Gaps:Any gaps in the solution against merchant requirement should be identified and closed in agreement with merchant within the project delivery timeline.
  • Delivery of a working solution:The solution delivered to merchant should be working as per the requirement with no gaps.
  • Post Launch Performance Analysis:Observe post launch performance & actions taken to mitigate issues.
  • Cross Functional Communications:Updates to relevant stakeholders from project inception till post launch.
  • DESIRED PROFILE:4-6 years of technical project management experience in payments industry with Payment Aggregators, Wallets, Bank Schemes etc.
  • Experience integrating with third party web services across a variety of technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, etc.)Handle post launch issues like log analysis and troubleshooting, working with Engineering or external Partners to get it resolved.
  • SSL certificate managementHands on SQL skillsYou have a successful track record in delivering integration projects from concept to launch.
  • You have a high degree of technical competency in software development practices, project management and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs.
  • You are skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with partners.
  • You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills to gather insights from data to identify underlying issues.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, scrum, agile development environment with ability to multi-task and respond flexibly to change.
  • You deal well with ambiguity and changing deadlines while keeping focused on delivering results.
  • You are a strong and effective project leader who can prioritize well and communicate effectively.
  • You are an experienced self-starter with a problem-solving focus, an analytical mindset, and extreme attention to detail.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation or higher degree in Technology / Engineering (Preferred)Project Management Professional from PMI (Preferred)Scrum Master Certification (Preferred)
