- 9 - 12 Years 1 Opening Pune Role description Position Title: DevOps Tech Lead Hiring Location: Pune Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to join our team and drive the automation, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and automation tools, particularly with Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD. This role requires leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of DevOps practices. Must-Have Skills: Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its PaaS services (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure API Management). DevOps Tools: Proficient in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Terraform. Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications and orchestration. Infrastructure Automation: Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with experience in Terraform, CloudFormation, Argo CD, and Terragrunt. Monitoring & Logging: Familiar with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack for system performance monitoring and log management. Security Practices: Solid understanding of cloud security, including authentication & authorization protocols and application security. Version Control: Expertise in GitHub and other version control systems for managing code repositories. Good to Have Skills: Disaster Recovery: Experience in building Azure Disaster Recovery solutions. Database Knowledge: Understanding of SQL/No-SQL databases and principles of Message Brokers. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments. Web Development Technologies: Experience in setting up infrastructure for applications developed in .Net and React. Additional Tools: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and other infrastructure monitoring and ing tools. Experience Range: Experience: 8 to 12 years of demonstrable experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. Team Leadership: Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and guiding a team of DevOps engineers. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of applications. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other tools. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments (Azure), ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Lead the development and deployment of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Work closely with development teams to improve workflows and enhance collaboration between development, operations, and security teams. Maintain and enhance the performance, security, and reliability of production environments. Oversee the creation and management of Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost management. Document infrastructure setups, automation processes, and troubleshooting guides for internal use. Participate in incident management and post-incident reviews, driving improvements in processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or relevant work experience. Key Knowledge: Designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions using the Azure Well-Architected Framework. In-depth understanding of cloud-based security practices. Knowledge of distributed systems principles and cloud networking. Proficient in Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and caching solutions like Redis. Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply complex concepts to project tasks. Ability to work both independently and in an agile team environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide teams. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
