Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced SRE Lead with extensive expertise in SRE, DevOps practices, Kubernetes, and ITSM processes to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on managing and enhancing service reliability, automation, and integration across our systems. Responsibilities: Develop and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with stakeholders. Automate and monitor the deployment of infrastructure and services to increase reliability and reduce manual intervention. Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed to improve system scalability and flexibility. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Manage container lifecycles, scalability, and resource optimization within Kubernetes. Work on troubleshooting and resolving Kubernetes and container orchestration issues across development, staging, and production environments. Manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic to monitor system health, performance, and resource usage Continuously improve observability to reduce mean time to detection (MTTD) and mean time to recovery (MTTR). Implement and optimize ITSM processes and tools to ensure alignment with industry best practices (ITIL framework). Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and provide feedback loops for process improvements. Required Skills: Overall with 10 years of experience in IT Service Management, with at least 6 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Proven experience in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, and automation tools. Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization concepts. Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native applications. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks. Solid experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks and best practices, particularly ITIL. Proven experience in managing ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change, and release management. Proficiency in ITSM tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Cherwell) Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Experience with security best practices in containerized environments. A proactive mindset, always looking to improve system stability, security, and performance Good to Have: ITIL v3/v4 certification.,
