Opportunity for Microsoft BI (MSBI) Consultant @ Millicon Consultant

Job Description

Qualification:

• Master s or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Science degree.
• 6+ years overall experience in technical roles - Power BI Report server (On premise), Power BI Service (Cloud), Business Intelligence and Analytics related innovation areas.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• BI consultant will provide support and develop business intelligence applications based on company business requirements following CMMI 3 standards
• Implementation of complex and strategic BI projects for our customers and Accounting expertise
• Ability to read and analyze programs, perform unit test and do effective analysis & code debugging.
• Possess effective communication skill to communicate with customers and other team members.
• Prepares flow charts and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
• Experience in working with global delivery teams.
• Guides and manages team deliveries and Helps build up knowledge base
• Establishes working relationships with others outside area of expertise.
• Designs, analysis, tests and documents software programs for systems of moderate to high complexity as per the requirements specifications.
• Understands customer requirements, develops and evaluates alternative systems solutions.
• Participates in the investigation of system requirements and assists in preparation of systems specifications including revising manuals, design of forms and computer output, and documenting user procedures.
• Analyzes problems, conducts root cause analysis and help in resolution of problems using defined problem management procedure and help in application support and maintenance of customer applications

Requirements:

• Microsoft SQL Server version 2014, 2017 & 2019.SSAS(DAX Tabular & MDX), SSIS, SSRS, SQL knowledge and expertise Must Have
• Experience in Power BI Developer , including hands-on implementation of BI/Analytics/data warehousing solutions, and in-memory solutions using Microsoft technologies in on premise/cloud/hybrid scenarios Must Have
• Hands on exposure on C# , Visual Studio, .Net, GitHub, JQuery Must Have
• BI modeling and SQL scripting and Microsoft product suite experience is required
• Project experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and data modelling concepts, Reporting and Visualization experience (e.g., Power BI, Reporting services.)
• Understanding/exposure to cloud models/concepts ,Innovation areas like Machine learning, Data Science, Predictive modeling and Data Science, Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning solutions on innovation areas like SAP Leonardo in future

Good to have:

• Theobald a connector that allows Microsoft to extract data from SAP.
• Third party tools like CFT, eXtollo, OneAPI
• Azure Data Factory hands on exposure.
