Job Description
Who are we looking for?
A L2 Automation engineer strong scripting skills and experience of working with automation tools.
Responsibilities:
This is a key-requirement from an L2 Automation engineer. A solid foundation in Computer Science principles in terms of filesystems, processes, network stack, protocols, etc. is necessary for a candidate to be able to perform as per expectations at senior position
Experience on Servers.
Ability to automate tasks with programming (Shell scripting) or configuration management tools (Ansilbe, puppet), etc. is preferred.
Collaborate with teams to identify areas for automation and create automation solutions using Ansible.
Maintain and update existing Ansible code, as well as create new code when necessary.
Develop and implement Ansible-based automation solutions for various IT processes and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with Ansible-based solutions.
Work with teams to understand and improve processes and procedures, and identify opportunities for automation.
Implement best practices for automation and configuration management using Ansible.
Develop documentation, including runbooks and technical documents, to support Ansible-based solutions..
Technical Skills:
Programming languages Python, Golang, JavaScript or ruby, Bash, PowerShell
Server Administration Linux, Unix, and Windows
Network and Security TCP/IP fundamentals, Protocols, DNS, HTTP/s, FTP, SSL
Servers
o Web Servers Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, IIS, or Jelly
o Caching Redis or MemCache
o Database SQL or NoSQL
Infrastructure as code
o Configuration Management Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or salt stack
o Container Docker or rkt
o Container Orchestration Kubernetes or docker swarm
o Infrastructure Provisioning Terraform
CICD Jenkins, GITLAB CI or GITHUB Action
Monitoring and Logging
o Monitoring Grafana or Prometheus
o Logging ELK or Splunk
Clouds AWS, Azure or GCP
Container: Docker, Singularity or RKT
Monitoring: Grafana, Nagios, Ganglia or Prometheus.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge on Patch deployment solutions Redhat
Working knowledge on Suse and other Linux flavors.
Strong experience with Ansible, including developing playbooks and roles.
Solid understanding of Linux and Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
Strong Knowledge in installing, configuring, troubleshooting and Administration of all flavors of Linux.

Demonstrate business judgment, decision making skills, negotiating skills, time-resource management, complex problem solving, in-depth product knowledge, creativity, teamwork, knowledge of quality processes, political astuteness and sensitivity in dealing with diverse cultures and ability to learn quickly.
Experience in interacting/Supporting Level 1 Support teams and customers
Must be a team player and show ability and willingness to motivate and support other engineers.
Experience and Qualification:
Minimum 5 Years of experience automation
Experience in Industry standard server technologies
Should have strong scripting skills and experience of working with automation tools.
BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MSc/ MCA qualification or equivalent
Preferred Certification on the latest track of Suse, Redhat or VMware or any OS
Automation tools Ansible/Jenkins/YAML/Python
