Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Preparation of design basis reports for Solar PV Plant Preparation of technical specifications preparation and equipment sizing calculations such as Transformers, MV/LV Switchgear, Cables, DC System, UPS, Protection panel etc. Review of design analysis and detailed construction drawings and Vendor document reviews. Coordinate within DEC Team and customer. Key Skills Required: Development of AC SLD, MV equipment sizing, AC cable sizing / routing, MCR / Equipment layout, Earthing / Lightning Protection, BOQ Estimation, Equipment specification / data sheet Able to prepare Single line diagrams, technical specifications, design calculations, protection schemes and drawings related to Substation and MV Distribution. Familiar with physical engineering such as Equipment layouts, cable routing, Lighting, Lightning protection and earthing layouts. Knowledge on International standards such as IEC, IEEE, DIN, BIS related to Electrical equipments and system design. Knowledge on Solar Inverter design will have added advantage. Technical Competencies: Preparation of performance assessment procedures. Review of vendor document and drawings for the Solar PV Plant Equipments and related auxiliary systems such as Inverters, E-House, cables etc. Knowledge on GIS and AC Substation layouts including its auxiliary building arrangements. Knowledge of Electrical protection and control schemes. Perform earthing design calculations and equipment sizing calculations. Familiar with Electrical equipments like Power Transformers, EHV cables, HV Substation Equipments (Both AIS & GIS) Witness Factor acceptance test and Site Testing.,
