Quality Assurance Engineer - Performance @ Consultancy

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Test Framework Design : Design and implement automated test frameworks for backend API and message-based testing using Cucumber and Spring Boot. Backend API Testing Develop and execute automated tests for backend services, particularly REST APIs, using tools like Postman and Newman. Middleware Testing Automate and perform integration testing for middleware components such as ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and MQ (Message Queue) to ensure proper communication and performance across systems. Data Validation Validate and verify data across various databases, both RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), ensuring consistency and integrity. Automation Across Layers Apply automation testing to test across multiple layers of the application, including service layers, database layers, and messaging systems. Performance Testing (Optional) Perform performance testing to assess the load and scalability of the backend services, ensuring that the applications can handle real-world traffic and data volumes. Collaboration Work closely with development teams to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the development pipeline (CI/CD) and that any issues are caught early in the process. Continuous Improvement Continuously review and improve the automation frameworks, testing tools, and processes to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency in testing. Documentation Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports, to ensure clear communication with stakeholders. (ref:hirist.tech),
