- Senior PHP Developer (Short-Term Onsite Ivory Coast, Africa) Experience: 5+ Years Location: Ivory Coast, Africa (Onsite for 45 Days in Africa and later remote work) Job Type: Full time Job Description: We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with expertise in API development, server setup, and deployments for a short-term project in Ivory Coast, Africa. The selected candidate will work onsite for 45 days, collaborating closely with our team to set up and deploy PHP-based applications. Our team will provide guidance, and all expenses, including travel, accommodation, and daily expenses, will be covered. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Set up PHP servers and manage server configurations, security, and deployments. Deploy and maintain PHP applications in a production environment. Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless project execution. Troubleshoot and resolve performance and security issues. Ensure code quality, best practices, and scalability. Requirements: 5+ years of PHP development experience. Strong expertise in frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony. Experience with API development and third-party integrations. Hands-on experience with server setup, deployment, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean). Strong knowledge of Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, MySQL, and security best practices. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and Docker is a plus. Ability to work independently and adapt to an onsite working environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
