JR70987 Engineer, Advanced Modeling As a TD Advanced Modeling Engineer in the Modeling group at Micron, you will work in a multi-functional team of engineers highly skilled in the modeling of materials, process, structure, and reactors. This teams primary responsibility is to enable faster and cheaper discovery of potential solutions to Microns most significant challenges in Memory technology development. Key Responsibilities: Ability to comprehend statistical process analysis and control systems. Conduct simulations and analyze results to optimize designs and ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize data analysis and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulations. Develop and validate finite element models for structural, mechanical stress/strain analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and troubleshoot engineering issues. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate analysis results and recommendations. Stay updated with the latest advancements in FEA, CFD, numerical methods, computational geometry, and machine learning. Qualifications: Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related fields. 2+ years of experience in computational modeling. Experience with numerical methods, scientific computing and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Perl, FORTRAN, C++). Experience with data analysis tools and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, etc.). Familiar with FEA, FVM, PFM, HPEM, methods and implementations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with HPC on Linux environment Experience with computational geometry and mesh generation techniques. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of multi-physics simulations and advanced material models.
