Job Description
About the Role
- Perform large-scale data analysis to extract useful business insights
- Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by communicating results to cross-functional groups
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to proactively create rules and manage decisions
- Classify projects so that the teams work on the most valuable cases
- Perform research-based work, implement SOTA algorithms and finally prove their worth via A/B Test
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience, as a Data scientist preferably with a product based startup /MNC
- Lead and own the Data science/AI initiatives end to end for at least 2 to 3 products
- Fundamentally strong in Statistics and Probability, with the knowledge of Hypothesis Testing, A/B, Frequentist, and Bayesian Testings
- A good understanding of SQL, Writing scalable production Python code
- Algorithmic understanding of Linear and tree-based models, Deep Learning (Sequential Network e.g. RNN, Attention Network), Recommendation Systems(Factorisation machines e.t.c.), Model tunings, experiments, and optimizations
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing/ Techniques (NLU, NLG)
- Big data experience is a plus - Pyspark (preferred)/Scala
- Hands-on experience with Cloud - AWS (preferred)
- Experience with designing Reinforcement learning systems is a plus
