Job Summary We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This position is ideal for someone with a good understanding of RHEL, KVM, and OpenStack environments. The candidate will be instrumental in integrating new hardware, debugging, and supporting open-source software. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee the integration of new hardware into existing networks and systems while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Debug and provide expert-level support for OpenStack and other open-source platforms. Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to facilitate seamless delivery of software products. Design and implement robust database solutions using PostgreSQL. Ensure the security and stability of platform architecture through proactive assessment and upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform engineering strategies with overall business objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology, applying insights to drive continuous improvement. Desired skills & experience Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, Masters degree preferred. Total Experience of 10+ and minimum of 4 years of experience in platform engineering. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with RHEL, KVM, and OpenStack environments. Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java. In-depth knowledge of Jenkins, delivery pipelines, and PostgreSQL. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with various stakeholders and external partners. Good to have: Certifications in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenStack, or similar technologies. Experience in developing and supporting large-scale, high-availability platform architectures.
