Job Title: Cloud Data Architect Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GCP Data Architect to join our team. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Architect would be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for enterprise-level clients using GCP. The role involves understanding clients business requirements and translating them into technical solutions that meet their needs. The GCP Data Architect should have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, including compute, networking, storage, security, and automation. They should also have a deep understanding of GCP services, such as App Engine, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Pub/Sub and tools such as Dataform, Composer, Looker and PowerBI. Key Responsibilities: Leading technical discussions with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend appropriate cloud-based solutions. Creating technical specifications and architecture documents for GCP-based solutions. Designing and implementing cloud solutions using GCP services. Advising clients on best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with cloud-based solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, engineering, and support, to ensure successful project delivery. Staying up to date with the latest developments in cloud technologies and GCP services. Qualifications And Certifications Education: o Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: o Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using GCP. o Experience in architecting and designing solutions in one or more of the following areas: Infrastructure Modernization, Data Management and Analytics, Application Modernization, or DevOps. o Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including compute, networking, storage, security, and automation. o Proven experience designing and implementing data workflows using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer. o Experience with cloud automation tool such as Terraform. o Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Certifications: o Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification preferred.
