Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and related frameworks. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications. Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to store and manage data efficiently. Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in backend development using Node.js. Operate in a fast-paced environment while writing high-quality code Work closely with the Chief Product Officer to plan and implement new features Can own large features from early prototype to a polished final implementation Turn a design document into a technical plan, and implement it Hosting: AWS, Hostwinds, and Mongo Atlas Knowledge of Angular is a plus Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (preferred). Experience with Express.js, Nest.js, or other Node.js frameworks. Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Understanding of API development, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and security best practices. Knowledge of Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
