About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist / Lead Data Scientist to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will harness your expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and data science to solve complex business challenges, particularly in demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, and price recommendation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end data science solutions, from problem scoping to production deployment. You will also continuously improve model performance and drive innovations that impact the core of our clients" decision-making processes. Job Title: Lead Data Scientist Location: Bangalore | Hybrid Reporting to: Director of Data Science Position Type: Senior Individual Contributor Responsibilities: Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex datasets. Design, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models on large-scale time series data for applications such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and price optimization. Extract data insights, create visualizations, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build and maintain automated data science pipelines for model development, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and client-facing teams, to integrate models into business processes and ensure alignment with client goals. Research and prototype new machine learning algorithms and statistical models to continuously innovate and improve solutions. Monitor and evaluate model performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization. What Were Looking For: 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields, with expertise in demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, time series analysis, and statistical modeling. Must have experience in CPG, FMCG, or retail industries to understand the specific challenges and opportunities in these domains. Proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow), SQL, and Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Experience in building and deploying end-to-end data science pipelines including data gathering, modeling, deployment, and monitoring. Expertise in time series modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis techniques. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and deliver efficient solutions.
