Job Title: Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer Location: Chennai - Location - Nungambakkam Area Experience: 10+ years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, strong backend development skills, and experience designing scalable and high-performing web applications. You will play a key role in architecting, developing, and optimizing our applications while mentoring junior developers and ensuring best coding practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development. Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB). Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, Delayed Job). Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices (TDD, BDD). Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Architecture & System Design: Define and implement system architecture and database designs. Work with microservices, APIs, and third-party integrations. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL and NoSQL databases. Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams. Mentor and coach junior developers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices. Drive continuous improvement in development processes and team efficiency. DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment. Work with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud platforms to optimize infrastructure. Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.,
