Key Responsibilities Teach MBBS students and junior residents in anesthesiology and perioperative care. Administer anesthesia for general, regional, and sedation-based surgical procedures. Work closely with surgeons, intensivists, and critical care teams for perioperative patient management. Supervise anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery phases in OTs and ICUs. Train students in pre-anesthesia evaluation, airway management, and emergency protocols. Guide research in pain management, anesthetic techniques, and critical care advancements. Ensure compliance with anesthesia safety guidelines, infection control, and hospital protocols. Manage postoperative pain relief strategies, including regional blocks and multimodal analgesia. Participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs and conferences. Contribute to hospital policy-making in anesthetic and perioperative care standards.
