Frontend Developer - Next.js About The Role We're seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to build modern, responsive web applications using Next.js and React. You'll create engaging user interfaces and implement complex frontend features. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience (5+ years) in frontend development Expert knowledge in: Next.js and React ecosystem TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design State management (Redux/Context API/Zustand) CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS/Styled Components) Performance optimization techniques Frontend testing methodologies RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration Web security best practices Version control with Git Experience with component libraries and design systems Strong understanding of browser rendering and optimization Eye for design and attention to detail Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop responsive web applications using Next.js Create reusable React components and custom hooks Implement complex UI/UX designs with pixel-perfect accuracy Optimize applications for maximum performance Write unit tests and integration tests Debug and fix cross-browser compatibility issues Collaborate with backend team for API integration Review code and provide constructive feedback Document frontend architecture and component usage Ensure web accessibility compliance Monitor and improve application performance Technical Stack Core: Next.js 13/14, React 18, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 Styling: Tailwind CSS, SASS/SCSS, CSS Modules, Styled Components State Management: Redux Toolkit, React Query, SWR, Zustand UI Components: Material UI, Shadcn UI, Radix UI, Framer Motion Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright Tools: VSCode, Git, GitHub, Chrome DevTools, Webpack/Vite API Integration: REST, GraphQL, WebSocket Performance: Lighthouse, Web Vitals, Bundle analysis Build & Deploy: Vercel, Docker, CI/CD pipelines The Family Office is an independent wealth management firm offering customized investment solutions in alternative asset classes, including private equity, private debt, and real estate.
