Job Description

Position: Software Developer (CICD,Jenkins,Kubernetes,C#.NET) Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Software Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end process of migrating applications from PCF to OCP. This includes assessment and planning, application preparation, deployment, and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java or .NET development, containerization, and cloud-native technologies. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Planning: Conduct a thorough inventory of applications and dependencies. Evaluate compatibility of existing applications with OCP. Collaborate with architects and DevOps engineers to define the migration path (rehosting, replatforming, or refactoring). Application Preparation: Modify and containerize applications using Docker. Write and optimize Dockerfiles for Java or .NET applications. Ensure applications are cloud-native and optimized for container environments. Deployment: Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy applications using OpenShift deployment configurations and pipelines. Configure service bindings and ensure seamless integration with services. Participate in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Testing and Validation: Conduct functional, performance, and security testing of migrated applications. Work closely with Quality Assurance engineers to ensure applications function as expected. Validate application performance and ensure data integrity post-migration. Post-Migration Support: Monitor applications for performance and reliability. Address any post-migration issues and optimize configurations. Update documentation and provide knowledge transfer to relevant teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven 5 years of experience in software development with Java or .NET. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and cloud-native design principles. Experience with CI/CD tools and practices. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and version control systems (Git). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native design principles. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack).,
