Urgent opening for Sales Manager- Uganda with a client leading Importers of pharmaceutical & medical products in Uganda. The company imports high quality pharmaceutical products from reputed manufacturers who meet the regulatory approvals from advanced countries like, UK, USA, Europe,South Africa and Australia.

The company has its own dispensing, retail, and wholesale outlets in the heart of the city of Kampala with a well-designed distribution network across the country, with a turnover exceeding US$5 million.

Responsibilities:-

ACCOUNTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION

• Posting of Entries Into Tally From Day book
• Follow up of Customs Entry with the clearing agents
• Arranging of the Bank Release for Imports Clearance
• Arranging to Collect DA / LC Documents from Bank
• LC Establishment and post follow up
• Collecting Bank Statements from Bank
• Booking all the expenses
• Assets Capitalization, Entering of Purchases and expenses of the company
• Concluding Bank Reconciliation Statement on Weekly Basis for all our bank accounts.
• Verify the Posting of Entries of Mbale and Mbarara Branch regularly
• Handling petty Cash
• Calculation of Payroll
• Payment of Allowances to the Medical Representatives of all agencies.
• Preparation of Debit Notes for Principal Companies
• Intercompany Reconciliations of the complete group.
• Arranging Payment for Overseas Suppliers and follow up for Swift copies and communicate the same to the overseas suppliers.
• Apply TCC in URA Web portal
• Monthly Marketing team expenses report to Management.
• NSSF clearance & Certification of Documents for Tender.
• Creation of Tally of New Companies and posting the Opening Balances Accurately
• Any other works assigned from time to time by the management. 

Experience Required:-4-5 Years (Minimum) in Accounting handling above profile.

Compensation Offered:-Depends on Caliber/Experience/Smartness (Budget upto $900 it can be vary)Plus Shared Accommodation + Food Allowance + Health Insurance + Travel Allowance
