Job Description
- Scope We are seeking a Product Owner to lead the development and adoption of Notification and Chat/Collaboration Services for our SaaS supply chain management platform. These services will enable seamless real-time communication, alerts, and workflow collaboration across multiple applications. The Product Owner will ensure these capabilities meet the needs of internal teams, enhance user engagement, and integrate effectively with the broader platform ecosystem. In this role, you will manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and collaborate with engineering, design, and application teams to drive adoption and continuous improvements. You will work with stakeholders across multiple product teams to ensure the notification and collaboration services are scalable, intuitive, and support business-critical workflows. What Youll Do Own and manage the product backlog, defining and prioritizing features for notification and chat/collaboration services. Act as the Product Owner for an Agile scrum team, leading backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution. Engage with internal application teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration of messaging and collaboration services. Define real-time communication and notification strategies, ensuring reliability, scalability, and an intuitive user experience. Drive adoption and enablement, creating documentation, training materials, and best practices for application teams. Work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to align development with user needs and platform goals. Success Metrics & Adoption KPIs Platform Adoption: % of internal teams using notification and collaboration services, integration rate with SaaS applications. System Performance: Delivery speed, reliability, and uptime of real-time notifications and chat services. User Engagement: Message delivery success rates, open/click rates for notifications, active collaboration session metrics. Operational Efficiency: Reduction in email-based workflows, increased response times in chat-based collaboration. What Were Looking For 5+ years as a Product Owner in SaaS or platform services. Experience in customer success, account management, or implementation services. Familiarity with real-time communication technologies, chat platforms, or notification services. Experience working in Agile environments, managing cross-team collaboration. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to align diverse teams on shared platform goals.
