- *Job Description :** *Lead Senior Engineer, Enterprise Security** *Overview:** *We are looking for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for helping design, develop, and deploy both in-house and commercial security solutions in a global technologically diverse environment. The individual in this role is expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.** *This position requires an excellent understanding of modern security architectures and controls in data-centers both on-prem and in the public cloud, IaaS and SaaS implementations and for office locations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with security technologies such as firewalls, end-point security, application security, email security and also assist with cybersecurity logging and monitoring efforts** *The person has the ability to multitask, work independently and work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.** *Job Responsibilities:** + **Ensure that the organizations data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate cybersecurity controls.** + **Implement cybersecurity solutions, designs and best practices across the organizations landscape of public cloud, SaaS, data-center and office locations** + **Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade cybersecurity measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems and networks** + **Actively collaborate in the change management processes and procedures** + **Build custom scripts to get data from multiple sources.** + **Build dashboards and reports using bigquery and/or SIEM tools** + **Ensure cybersecurity indicators are accurate and up to date.** + **Review cybersecurity vendors and/or tools and participate in proof of concepts.** + **Deploy cybersecurity controls for email, mobile devices, servers, workstations, network devices and SaaS applications.** + **Manage, maintain and operate cybersecurity tools.** + **Support the vulnerability management program** + **Perform cybersecurity advisory, identify risks and network and system vulnerabilities** + **Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization** *Along with the above requisites of an engineer, A Senior Engineer should have the below:** + **Support vulnerability management efforts, including vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation, to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across the organizations IT infrastructure.** + **Develop and maintain endpoint protection strategies and solutions to defend against advanced threats, including antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies.** + **Conduct security assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement.** + **Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, network security, and compliance, to ensure the alignment of security initiatives with business objectives.** + **Stay current with emerging cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends, and assess their potential impact on the organizations security posture.** *Qualifications:** + **A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification** + **5+ years of experience in Information Technology.** + **Experience with cloud security in a public cloud environment is a plus** + **Proficiency in scripting for automation and custom tools creation** + **Hands-on experience in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, authentication systems, log management, Identity Management, Active Directory, SAML/oAuth, SIEM, SOAR, content filtering, etc.** + **Ability to communicate complicated technical issues and risks to engineers, project managers and product managers** + **Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills** + **Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.** + **Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the cyber security team, and assist in their professional development.** + **Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders to provide updates on cyber security initiatives, risks, and incidents.** *About NewsTech** *Headquartered in New York, the activities of News Corp are conducted primarily in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.** This job is posted with NTS Technology Services Pvt.
