Software Tester - UFT Job in ValueLabs

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with expertise in using Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and VB Script to design, develop, and execute automated tests for software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining test automation frameworks, executing automated tests, and identifying defects in the application under test. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop automated test scripts using UFT and VB Script to test software applications. Create and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing. Execute automated tests to identify defects in the application under test. Analyze and debug test scripts to resolve issues and improve test efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and effective testing. Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automated testing. Identify and report defects to the development team, providing clear and concise descriptions of the issue. Develop and maintain test automation metrics to measure test efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve test automation skills and knowledge. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation quality. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in automation testing using UFT and VB Script. Strong knowledge of UFT and VB Script programming languages. Experience with test automation frameworks and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools, such as Selenium or Appium. Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Java. Experience with cloud-based testing platforms. Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Certification in automation testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE.,
