Role: Global Network Administrator L2 / L3 The Global Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of a complex, hybrid on-premise and cloud environment. Key responsibilities include network configuration and management, troubleshooting and support, performance monitoring, and documentation and reporting. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, a minimum of 4+ years as a Network Engineer, hands-on experience with network hardware including WiFi, SDWAN, Routers, Switches, and UCaaS voice. Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+ and Cisco CCNA with advanced certifications like CCNP being a plus. Highly Motivated Network Administrator with Strong troubleshooting skills, network security understanding, Network Protocols and effective communication are also essential. Key Responsibilities: Network Configuration & Management: o Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), Wi-Fi (WLAN) and wide area networks (WANs). o Manage and configure Cisco routers, switches and other network devices, including VLAN,ACLs, Channel Groups, and Radiuso Support our SDWAN appliances to ensure high availability and security to critical applications o Manage and configure our Wi-Fi access points and ensure OS is staying up to date and identifying rogue access points and SSIDs o Support UCaaS voice platform to ensure call quality and stability for our end userso Implement and maintain network protocols, including BGP, TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, DNS and DHCP Troubleshooting & Support: o Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, slow network speeds, and network outages. o Maintain and verify that the out-of-band appliances are properly configured and tested o Utilize network packet sniffer software utilizing layer 3 mirroring to isolate connectivity issues o Provide technical support to application teams and end-users regarding network-related issues. Network Performance Monitoring: o Monitor network performance and device up-times to ensure high availability and reliability of services. o Use network monitoring tools, packet captures and network scans to proactively detect and address network performance issues. o Review Layer 3 MAC and ARP Tables, Spanning-Tree and NetFlow Documentation & Reporting: o Maintain network Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and supporting documentation,including network diagrams, IP address schemes, configurations, and change logs. o Update network interface descriptions for all Servers and critical devices on the network, to ensure rapid identification and resolution during outages o Prepare regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements for management. Required Skills: o Experience in local area networks (LANs), Wi-Fi (WLAN) and wide area networks (WANs) o Experience in SDWAN architectureo Experience in High Availability and Business Continuity methodologies o Experience with Voice solutions. UCaaS experience is a plus o Knowledge of DHCP and DNS protocols o Good understanding of network security practices. o Good troubleshooting, isolation techniques and problem-solving skills. o Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language to collaborate with team members and end-users. o Effectively prioritize and execute tasks during high-level outages o analytical and troubleshooting skills a plus. Qualifications: o Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). o Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Network Infrastructure role o Hands-on experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, wireless access points and VoIP/UCaaS solutions o Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques for network infrastructure. o Good knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network monitoring tools. o Preferred CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar networking certifications o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent advanced certifications is a plus If your resume aligns with the skills mentioned above and you are interested in exploring this opportunity, please submit your CV to hidden_email.
