Job Description
- You need to aim to produce quality estimate with high level of accuracy along with clear presentation. You have to adhere to the estimation standards, Procedures and client Protocols. You will have target as decided by the management and you are expected to achieve this over a period of time, without compromising on the quality, presentation and accuracy. The Team leader only aids in tracking the errors that the Estimator has done and it is finally the responsibility of the estimator to produce error-free drawings. The estimator holds the responsibility of the mistakes in the estimate. The estimator should strictly stick to the schedule given by the Team Leader in charge for the project. If for some reason, the schedule cannot be met, this should be informed well in advance to the Team leader. But, Team leader will decide whether it can be achieved OR alternative arrangement can be made. All the RFI responses and instructions related to project must be taken care. Any assumption made while estimating should be informed to the Team Leader as early as possible and clearly mentioned on the cove page for Client awareness. You need to book time sheet on daily basis which help us to find out your productivity, efficiency and to evaluate the project which you work on. It is your responsibility to book your estimated tons and revision hours in submittal log to calculate your production. All the New Project and revision work must be included in Submission Priority Report. You have to coordinate and discuss with your team leader for updating submission dates in Submission Priority Report. It is your responsibility to read all mails and take action in appropriate time. Also, all the mail instructions must be taken care without fail. You need to raise RFI in appropriate time when conflict arises as per TL/PM advice. It is your responsibility to perform self-checking along with check list once estimate report drawing has been completed. It is your responsibility to get QC/QA from your TL and PM respectively. All the QC/QA corrections must be incorporated in your estimate report. If any conflict arises on QC/QA corrections, discuss with TL/PM to go with right direction. None of estimation project can be submitted without QC from your Team leader/PM. You need to send daily work progress report to TL, PM and your team as per the format given by your PM.
