- HPC Architect / Lead Location: Hyderabad Experience Level: 10+ Years Mode: Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Architect / Lead to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a passionate cloud computing expert with a strong background in AWS Cloud services, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and experience in the life sciences domain. You will lead cloud infrastructure projects, optimize performance, and drive innovation within a dynamic research-driven environment. Key Responsibilities HPC & Cloud Infrastructure Management Lead and manage cloud computing infrastructure for scientific research projects, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Design and implement AWS Cloud solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, Terraform) for high-performance computing workloads. Oversee the architecture and deployment of scalable cloud solutions for research computations. Implement, monitor, and optimize HPC clusters to ensure efficient resource utilization. Technical Leadership & Team Collaboration Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of cloud architects and engineers. Collaborate with research teams and stakeholders to understand scientific needs and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and performance issues. Stay updated on emerging cloud computing technologies and best practices, introducing them to the team. Security, Compliance & Cost Optimization Ensure best practices for cloud security, compliance, and cost management across projects. Work closely with clients in the life sciences domain to understand their specific needs and challenges. Qualifications & SkillsMust-Have: 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS. Proven expertise in designing and deploying cloud solutions for HPC workloads. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, networking solutions). Strong background in HPC cluster optimization & management. Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation for cloud automation. Excellent understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Ability to mentor and lead technical teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. Good-to-Have (Preferred): Experience in Life Sciences, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or Medical Research. Familiarity with scientific computing tools (MATLAB, R, HPC job schedulers). Advanced knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native environments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud automation.
