IOT Platform and Application Engineering Head: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IoT Platform and Full Stack Application Development to lead a team Business Analyst, Software Developers and Testers who are involved in the end-to-end development and delivery of our cutting-edge IoT platform, Video Analytics Platform and applications. This role is pivotal in driving our IoT strategy, ensuring the creation of robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet our business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex IoT projects. Location: Delhi Domain Area: Internet of Things, Connected Worker, Smart Cities, Smart Utilities, Video Analytics Job Description and Key responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the overall strategy for IoT platform and application development, aligning with the company's business goals. Stay abreast of emerging IoT technologies and trends and evaluate their potential impact on our products and services. Develop and manage the IoT development roadmap, prioritizing projects and resources effectively. IOT Platform and Application Development: Oversee the complete lifecycle of IoT platform and application development, from concept to deployment and maintenance. Ensure the development of scalable, secure, and reliable IoT solutions, including device management, data ingestion, processing, and visualization. Drive the development of user-friendly and feature-rich IoT applications that deliver exceptional customer experiences. Establish and maintain best practices for IoT development, ensuring code quality, security, and performance. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Testers. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and- continuous improvement. Manage team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews. Recruit, train, and retain top talent to build a high-performing IoT development team. Project Management: Manage multiple IoT projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Define project scope, timelines, and budgets, and manage project risks and issues effectively. Utilize agile methodologies to ensure iterative development and continuous improvement. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure successful project execution. Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales and SD/SA teams to align on customer needs and product development. Contribute to product road map discussions based on market feedback and technical insights. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Work closely with Product Team, Business Analysts to ensure accurate and comprehensive requirements gathering. Oversee and Guide to translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team. Ensure that the developed solutions meet the defined business needs and user requirements. Quality Assurance and Testing: Oversee the quality assurance and testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IoT solutions. Establish and maintain testing standards and procedures. Ensure thorough testing of IoT devices, platforms, and applications. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and technical solutions. Prepare regular reports on team activities, customer feedback, and project outcomes Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, as needed. Evaluate and select appropriate IoT hardware, software, and cloud services. Qualifications: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 13-15 Years of experience in software development, with a focus on IoT. Proven experience in leading and managing IoT platform and application development teams. Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including device connectivity, data management, cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT), and security. Experience with agile development methodologies. Experience in implemented RESTful Web Services with Service-Oriented Architecture Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience in data analytics Artificial Intelligence and machine learning applied to IoT data is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with specific IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, Industrial protocols etc.). Knowledge of security best practices for IoT devices and platforms. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Java. Backend Framework: Java, Spring Cloud (Micro Services Architecture) Front End: Angular, Type Script, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap/Material Design Familiarity with Network Technologies such as LPWAN, Private 5G, Wi-Fi, Cellular,
